Since the beginning, God has sent His Spirit to do His work. When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, God sent the Holy Spirit...and then Jesus began His ministry. Jesus did not say to go to Jerusalem to be born again, but to be endued with the power from on high after the Holy Ghost comes upon you! He said he would send us the Holy Spirit...a Comforter...God continues to use the Holy Spirit...and there is a baptism of power that comes in addition to the new birth!The baptism of power is not power to live a holy life, rather power to minister to others through the gifts of the Spirit.
